Oil India Recruitment 2023: Oil India Limited (OIL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has recently announced to hire personnel on a contractual basis for immediate engagement for Field Headquarters in Duliajan. The job openings entail working in shifts in remote and far-flung OIL installations in the production and exploration areas, and also on an “On-Call” duty basis. As per Oil India Recruitment 2023, the contractual engagement requirement involves an arduous and hazardous nature of jobs, and the hiring will be done solely on a contractual basis. Reservation and age relaxation will be as per Government of India guidelines/instructions.

As per oil India Recruitment 2023 the positions available are for Assistant Technician (Electronics), Assistant Technician (Fitting), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), and Junior Engineer (Telecommunication). Age Limit for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 Official Notification age limit criteria is as follows:

  1. Contractual Boiler Operator -Class I:
    • Minimum: 20 years
    • Maximum:
      • General: 40 years
      • SC/ST: 45 years
      • OBC-NCL: 43 years
  2. Contractual Boiler Operator -Class II:
    • Minimum: 20 years
    • Maximum:
      • General: 40 years
      • SC/ST: 45 years

Educational Qualification for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per OIL India Recruitment 2023 Official Notification educational qualification is as follows: 

  1. Contractual Boiler Operator:
    • Trade Certificate in the relevant course of 02 (two) years duration from a Government Recognized Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized
      Board.
    • Must possess valid and current Class I Boiler Attendant Certificate issued by a Competent Government Authority.
    • Minimum 02 (two) years post qualification relevant work experience.
  2. Contractual Boiler Operator – Class II – 20 Vacancies:
    • Trade Certificate in the relevant course of 02 (two) years duration from a Government Recognized
      Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
    • Must possess a valid and current Class II Boiler Attendant Certificate issued by a Competent Government Authority.
    •  Minimum 02 (two) years post qualification relevant work experience.

Contractual Emolument for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per Oil Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Contractual Emolument given to selected candidates are as follows:

  1. Contractual Boiler Operator:
    • Fixed emolument: Rs. 19,500.00 (Rupees Nineteen Thousand and Five Hundred) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday if any.
    • Variable emolument: Rs. 750.00 (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty) only per day for each working day
  2. Contractual Boiler Operator – Class II:
    • Fixed emolument: Rs.16,640.00 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred and Forty) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, and holiday, if any.
    • Variable emolument: Rs.640.00 (Rupees Six Hundred and Forty) only per day for each
      working day.

Tenure of Engagment for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the engagement period for the contractual positions is initially for six months, which may be extendable for another six months depending on job performance, conduct, physical fitness, and departmental requirements.

Selection Process for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the selection process involves a walk-in-practical/skill test cum personal assessment, which has been scheduled on 4th March 2023 and 6th March 2023, respectively. Registration for the same will be held from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.

How to Apply for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 Official Notification candidates must register for the assessment between 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. on the scheduled date at the venue. It’s vital that you arrive on time because candidates who arrive later than the stated time will not be allowed to register under any circumstance.

In addition to the registration time, candidates must also bring specific documents with them to the assessment. These documents include one recent 3cm x 3cm colored photograph, valid identity proof and address proof from a competent government authority, and an admit card, mark sheet, and pass certificate of class 10 issued by the concerned government-recognized education board.

Candidates must also provide document(s)/certificate(s)/testimonial(s) of essential qualifications, a valid and current Class I Boiler Attendant Certificate or Class II Boiler Attendant Certificate, relevant work experience certificates, and a valid caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) from a competent government authority, if applicable.

Other required documents include a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from a competent government authority, a valid Income and Asset Certificate for economically weaker sections issued by the competent government authority, a valid disability certificate from a competent government authority, and a valid Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate for ex-servicemen (pages containing personal particulars and service particulars), if applicable.
