Redington Limited has received a favourable order from the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), who has quashed a tax demand of Rs. 136.25 crore for Assessment Year 2021–22.

The demand had originally been raised by the Assessing Officer, and the company had informed stock exchanges about the assessment order and notice of demand in December 2023. Redington subsequently challenged the order before the appellate authority.

As per the order dated February 10, 2026, the CIT(A) has set aside the entire demand. The company received the order on February 20, 2026, and has informed both NSE and BSE under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Regulations.

Redington stated that the favourable ruling has no financial or operational impact on the company.
