Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited has issued a regulatory filing dated December 31, 2025, addressed to the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited, under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the regulatory filing, the tax authorities had conducted an audit of Sudarshan Chemical Industries in FY 2021-22. In conclusion, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Tax, Pune, Maharashtra, issued a notice against the company in Form DRC 01. The company furnished a detailed reply to the notice.
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, State Tax, Pune, Maharashtra, examined the reply of the company and issued a GST order dated December 30, 2025, in Form DRC-07, pertaining to the same year in consideration, and raised a total demand amounting to Rs. 50.58 crore on the company. The amount included a tax demand of Rs. 26.90 crore, interest of Rs. 20.98 crore, and a penalty of Rs. 2.69 crore.
The company claims that it possesses all the evidence relevant to the points raised by the Office of Deputy Commissioner, State Tax, Pune, Maharashtra. Further, it stated that the order is appealable and the company is in the process of approaching relevant authorities, challenging the order in question.
