Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited, India’s largest commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy provider, has disclosed to the stock exchange that it has received a demand order of Rs 6.77 Crore.
Background of the case
The Company has received an assessment order from the Income Tax Department under Section 143(3), read with Sections 144C(3) and 144B of the Income Tax Act. Pursuant to this order, an additional income-tax demand has been raised due to certain additions to income and disallowance of specific expenditures under various provisions of the Act.
