Income Tax Official in Bhadrak Held by CBI in Rs 4,000 Bribery Case The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested an office superintendent of the Income Tax Office at Bhadrak, Odisha, in a bribery case.
CBI Arrests SBI Branch Manager for Taking Rs 77,000 Bribe in Insurance Claim Case
The case was registered on June 3, 2026, on a complaint as per CBI. The complainant was allegedly asked by the accused official to pay a bribe of Rs 5,000 for deleting a duplicate PAN card record. The complaint states that the CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from the complainant.
