The IRCON Recruitment 2023 has arisen for Chief General Manager (Civil) Post for Positioning for Execution of MAHSR T-2 (NHSRCL) Project in Surat City, Gujarat. As may be referred to the IRCON Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular has arisen with 01 Vacancy for Chief General Manager (Civil) in the Pay Matrix Level 14 (Rs.144200-218200) (CDA) to be filled up by way of Deputation for 03 Years’ Duration Further Extendable up to 05 Years.

As per the IRCON Recruitment 2023, Appropriately Suitable Officers selected as Chief General Manager (Civil) will be appointed in the Pay Scale Level notified hereunder:
Pay Matrix: Level 14 [Rs.144200-218200 (CDA)] for Senior Administrative Grade/Non-Functional Senior Administrative Grade Officer (SAG/ NFSAG) CGM Level as per 7th Central Pay Commission Plus Perks/Benefits.
As has been mentioned in the IRCON Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Candidate as on 03.07.2023 should be aged as narrated hereunder:
Age Limits:
I) Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) Level: Not exceeding 58 Years on the Closing Date for Receipt of Application.
II) Below Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) Level: Not exceeding 56 Years on the Closing Date for Receipt of Application.
Based on the IRCON Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Eligibility Criteria for Chief General Manager (Civil) comprising the Specific Requirement and Experience, is explained hereunder:
Specific Requirement: The Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) Officer working in SAG/NFSAG (Senior Administrative Grade/Non-Functional Senior Administrative Grade) Scale With
Experience: The Officer should have a Total 20 Years’ Work Experience with 10 Years’ Experience in Similar Works (i.e., Track Works).
The Selection Process for Chief General Manager (Civil) Posts mandates Personal Interaction The Indian Railway Board constituted Screening Authority will shortlist the Candidates to be called in for Viva-voce/Personal Interaction/Interview. Only Shortlisted Candidates shall be summoned to appear for Viva-voce/Personal Interaction/ Interview. Post-Selection the Candidate would be issued an Appointment by Deputation for Posting in Navi Mumbai.
Deputation Tenure: Overall Deputation Term Engagement Tenure for Chief General Manager (Civil) Post shall remain 05 Years in Aggregate. The Candidate will be appointed initially for 03 Years with subsequent Extension of 02 Years, Totaling 05 Years.
