Government Notifies Anti-Dumping Duty on Sulphenamides Accelerators Following DGTR Findings
The Indian government has launched an investigation into imports of Sulphenamides Accelerators from China, the European Union and the United States.
The outcome of the investigation was the following:
- Indian manufacturers could not match the prices at which imported products were being sold in India, even at below cost prices.
- The cheaper imports were undercutting Indian manufacturers. This meant that foreign suppliers were selling the same or similar products at a lower price.
- Competition indicated that Indian manufacturers could not increase their selling prices and their prices were being suppressed and it was damaging them financially.
